Poorna Shakti Kendra (PSK) is the focal point of action on ground which facilitates service delivery to women at the grassroots. PSK project is being implemented on a pilot basis in select districts to demonstrate convergence and to enhance access and utilisation of schemes/programs of the government at the ground level. It entails setting up of convergence centres at district/block and gram panchayat level. Village Coordinators at the Kendras implement this project at the ground level.

What the PSK offers:

  • Information on all the government schemes/services/programmes for women
  • Maintain a database of target population
  • Awareness generation on legal rights and entitlements
  • Facilitate the availability and access to government schemes/services/programmes across health, education and livelihood sectors
  • Training and capacity building on various issues like leadership, legal rights etc
  • Organize women into collectives to access various resources
  • Coordinate the outreach of services of various departments
